Mr. Baker has over 25 years of experience in Gas Detection, Chemical, Biological and Nuclear Safety and PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) Training, OEM Development and Contracting. Mr. Baker’s initial work was with the US Military as the Security & Plans and Training Officer for NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical). Having served both in war zones and as a civilian, he has broad based experience in the development, use and monitoring of gas detection systems including product improvement, new products and software troubleshooting. Mr. Baker also has experience in EPA and OSHA regulations, alarms, Emergency Response Planning for Ammonia, CO2, Freon, Glycol and related chemicals used in chillers and refrigeration systems.

SYNOPSIS:

In this presentation, our speaker will update the audience on the latest developments in the Gas Detection Industry, Performance-Based Gas Detection System Design and current monitoring trends and their impact on Fire Protection issues. The presentation will cover the following topics: New IIAR Standards, International, National and Environmental Code Requirements and Lessons Learned after 5,000 Building Audits.
