SYNOPSIS:

The Wesleyville Fire Training and Incident Training Facility provides four major disciplines of training:

  • Professional and industrial fire brigade (includes incident command training)
  • High angle rescue
  • HAZMAT (based on NFPA 472); and
  • Medical response through the Base hospital and St. John’s ambulance.

The tour will include an introduction to the Fire and Rescue training academy, including the fire yard and the incident command simulator. We will also have an opportunity to observe a live training activity during the tour.

ITINERARY:

11:45 AM to 12:00 PM Reception
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Lunch
1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tour

DRESS CODE:

Casual – Safety Shoes, Safety Hat and Safety Glasses Required
