SYNOPSIS:

The firefight foam marketplace is adapting rapidly due to changing legislation regarding PFAS chemical persistence in the environment. End-users are now faced with the task of converting legacy (C8/C6) foam systems to fluorine free systems in order to meet new legislation. Fire Protection Experts are realizing all Fluorine free foams are not created equal and asking questions like “How do I know F3 will work for my specific system? When converting a system to F3 how do I gain local AHJ approval?”. This presentation will cover:

  1. Changing marketplace – Covering on-going Legislation
  2. Proven performance - Testing on Fluorine-Free Foams
  3. Deploying for use- What it means when converting existing systems to Fluorine-Free
