Megan Todd is a Project Consultant at Jensen Hughes Consulting Canada and has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry. She currently sits as a working group member, to develop recognized Canadian standards for the testing of passive and active life safety systems. She is also an active participant in the Building Commissioning Association. Ms. Todd has conducted analyses of fire protection, life safety and barrier‐free performance for new and existing buildings of varying magnitudes. Her experience includes commissioning large building systems, as well as review of complex designs for Code compliance and permit submission.

SYNOPSIS:

This presentation will address the criteria and minimum information necessary to successfully undertake life safety commissioning within a complex building. While drawing on personal experiences, from working group developments and international commissioning projects, this presentation will provide fundamental knowledge on life safety commissioning and integrated testing.
